Ornament Lantern

Decorating with lanterns has become all the rage, and incorporating them into your holiday decor is even easier. All you’ll need is a lantern with a door, ball-shaped ornaments and ribbon. Fill the lantern with ornaments, tie a ribbon on top and you have a trendy homemade decoration.

Popsicle Stick Tree Ornament

For this craft, all you need is glue, green construction paper, pipe cleaner and most importantly, four popsicle sticks. To start, you have to paint or color three of the sticks green and one brown. Glue the green sticks into a triangle, creating a tree shape. Cut a triangle the same size out of the green paper and glue it to the back of the sticks. Next, glue the brown stick to the back of the paper so that only the bottom is showing, like the trunk of a tree. Use the pipe cleaner to create garland on the tree, but save a piece to glue to the top to hang the ornament. To add an extra touch, draw ornaments on the construction paper.
