Severn River Lions Fruit Benefit Sale Set For January 16

The Severn River Lions Club will have a January citrus benefit fruit sale offering grapefruit and honeybell oranges (also known as Minneola tangelos) Saturday, January 16, at Cypress Creek Park, located at 11 Cypress Creek Road in Severna Park.

Orders are due by Friday, January 8. Orders will be by credit card only and picked up Saturday, January 16, from 9:00am to 1:00pm without extra charge. Delivery direct to you is $6.95 per box ordered.

Please wear a mask for pickup. Bring your email receipt for faster, easier pickup.

Order at SRLC Fruit and pre-pay with credit card. There will not be extra fruit ordered. For questions, email fruitorders@severnriverlions.org or call 410-518-9863.

For January, grapefruit and honeybell oranges are offered as follows:

Grapefruit

One-tray box, eight pieces, $20

Two-tray box, 15 pieces, $29

Three-tray box, 23 pieces, $38

Honeybell Oranges

Two-tray box, 22 pieces, $32


Purchases help the Lions Club support community service projects: hearing and vision assistance, Meals on Wheels, SPAN, Cub Scouts, Severna Park Middle School Youth Rise LEO club, children’s eye screening at elementary schools and other projects every year. The Lions Club also provides scholarships to Severna Park and Broadneck High School students. Every penny of profit goes to these activities. Lions Club members thank you for your patronage and support of their charitable work.
