Celebrating 20 Years Of Creating Spaces People Love

Posted

This year, Sew Beautiful is celebrating its 20th anniversary.

Margaret Blunt established Sew Beautiful in her home workroom in 2001 as a means to combine her entrepreneurial spirit with her creative side. Blunt now works with project manager Amy Publicover and designers Ronnie Harmon and Sarah Kraus in Olde Severna Park’s trademark turquoise cottage.

Over the last 20 years, their services have grown from providing custom window treatments to full interior design, as well as collaborating with designers, architects and builders in the greater Annapolis area.

“Our services have naturally evolved into helping our clients create and finish whole rooms that they love,” Blunt said. “Planning window coverings early on during the architectural and building phases allows us to make the best selections for a more aesthetically pleasing and functional treatment, especially if clients want automated products.”

Sew Beautiful’s work has been recognized and featured in local publications. Blunt is an active member of the Annapolis Design District and currently serves on the board as treasurer. She has been a member of WCAA (Window Coverings of America) and served in several positions on the board of the Maryland chapter.
